Mental Map

Mental Maps are drawn up and are based upon the perception of the person who is giving the information. It is an individual's internal map of the world that they know and see. Landmarks are commonly used in this type of map, making mental maps subjective depending on the person who gave the details. It is a map that is understood in any continent and at any age.

This map is hand drawn and can be clearly understood. But it does not contain any actual geographical information such as street names or interstates.
